How to access health and care this Easter

Need to access health and care services over the Easter bank holiday weekend?

If it’s not as urgent as 999, call NHS 111. NHS 111 call-handlers can offer reassurance and direct you to the most appropriate place to be seen 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This includes the GP Out of Hours service, which is available throughout the bank holiday weekend in Chester, Ellesmere Port and Tarporley. NHS 111 call-handlers can also dispatch an ambulance if required.

From Good Friday (April 14th) to Easter Monday (April 17th) 60 hours of Extended Hours GP appointments are also available for routine, non-urgent primary care appointments at the times and locations listed below.

Patients can call the Extended Hours service on 0300 123 7740 and choose option 3 to make a routine appointment up to two weeks in advance. The telephone line is open from 8am-8pm, seven days a week.

Patients will be seen by appointment only.
