Cheshire CCGs Joint Commissioning Committee

The Joint Commissioning Committee of the Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Groups ('the Committee') is a meeting of the four CCGs of Cheshire:

NHS Eastern Cheshire CCG
NHS South Cheshire CCG
NHS Vale Royal CCG
NHS West Cheshire CCG

It has been set up to manage the activities of the four CCGs as within its delegated responsibilities. The Annual Workplan of the Committee can be found by clicking here.

The Committee has the primary purpose of enabling the CCG members to work effectively together to collaborate and take joint decisions in the areas of work they agree. Decisions that will be undertaken by the Committee will be where a Cheshire wide approach is required, but most decisions about healthcare will continue to be taken locally. Individual CCGs that constitute the membership of the Committee will still always remain accountable for meeting their statutory duties.

The role and remit of the Committee is outlined within its Terms of Reference, which can be found by clicking here.

Meetings of the Committee

Meetings of the Committee are held in public but are not public meetings. Members of the public are invited to listen to the Committee's discussions, observe the decision-making process and have the opportunity to formally raise a question to the Committee within the Public Speaking Section of the meeting.

The Agenda and supporting papers for each Committee meeting will be made available on this website to the public in the week before the date of the meeting.

For more information, or if you wish to raise a concern, ask questions or feedback your comments about individual items contained in the Agenda and supporting papers, please contact:

Raising a question/concern - note: It is not a requirement to give notice of the intention to make use of public speaking provision, however, as a matter of courtesy, it is requested that members of the public provide at least three clear working days notice in writing to and include the question and any supporting information with that notice. This will provide the opportunity to undertake, where necessary, any background research so as to enable the most informed answer to be given

Please note that members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting. If you would like to attend the meeting please can you contact Matthew Cunningham directly via the contact details provided.
